Warum komprimiert mein IIS nicht? Oder: Fiddler richtig nutzen!

Lange habe ich mich gewundert, warum Fiddler (großartiger HTTP-Proxy) mir anzeigt, dass der Content unserer Webanwendung nicht gezippt ausgeliefert wird:

fidd-no-gzip

Heute bin ich dann zufällig und zum Glück endlich über die Lösung gestolpert:

fidd-rem-all-comp

Wenn man Fiddler sagt, dass er jedwede Komprimierung entfernen soll, tut er dies auch! Heureka. Also die gezeigte Option abwählen und schon sieht man, was man sehen sollte:

fidd-gzip
